A VOTE FOR LIFE. LET DEATH TAKE A BACK SEAT.//UNADULTERATED, I'LL TAKE MY LIFE NEAT.

Is death the opposite of life?
It quite is, but bears some resemblance too.
In life, we have periods of quiet,
lying down, and stillness,
not to mention the bother of illness.
But being voluntary is a different matter
than all your faculties lying in tatter
with you not even "you" any more,
something that you can never restore,
having lost all your identity
in addition to the body entity
in which you enjoyed so much plenty
but had to endure it too.
Better by far to go back to being "you,"
which is the greatest gift you ever received
if the witness of me is to be believed.
Don't lose it. It can't be retrieved.
