PRAISING A WIFE STILL YOUNG ENOUGH TO OUTSHINE A REALISTIC PORTRAIT

The love I bear for my wife
exceeds the limits of my life
within the bounds of natural nature.
If I were an artist, I'd commit her to portraiture
that attempts to compete with the human original.
Still I prefer herself over her copy-cat art.
She definitely enjoys the realistic part
in her natural human guise.
She's also preferred by all the guys
over the poor unfortunate art
that wastes its frame in an empty hall
where her true glow is in a state of stall.
Actually, there's no comparison at all.
Her texture adroitly stands out
from the flat stiff canvas pout.
But what if she grows older?
Then art's artifice should become bolder.
I pack this up, and put it in a folder.
