The human being is counted a body at a time,
with each body having its own independent "mind"
including of course the well-esteemed "brain"
that has attained scientific validity.
But the "soul" is too mystical a term
to deserve respect as a viable entity
with a well-merited separate identity.
So "soul" doesn't exist, but "mind" and "brain" do,
from the atheist's superior point of view.
